Hmph!
You know, all I want is a little warmth. The Mom got mad at me for complaining that it was cold in the place yesterday. Well, I'm sorry but I felt cold and even the Annoying One was crying for some warmth. The Mom says that we should all blame the Dad and some guy called Opeck for us having to keep the heat down. I know the Dad is hot all the time but he's weird. I don't know who this Opeck guy is but if I ever do meet him, I'm going to give him a good whap upside the head. No human should tell me how warm I can keep my home. Bah.

I know! Ask for a heated throw blanket! The People had one for the Cat Who Came Before Me when she was having trouble being warm enough. It was a lap throw they plugged into the wall and left on the sofa for her to nap on. And it didn't cost much of anything, not even to turn on a few times a day!
Yeah, she was spoiled *I* don't get one of those...
As much as it takes everything in my to do it, I find that snuggling up with my brother, Brach, helps keep me warm.
Ah the desperation...
My first cat found a chair arm under a lamp and would stay there for hours, baking his bones. The house was *only* about 72 most days and 65 most nights, being in SoCal :-). Bonnie and Victor find 'caves' under the beds or near the vents, where they can conserve heat. Burrow into soft, warm things your mom would prefer you stayed out of, like laundry and beds. And if all else fails, Kukka-Maria is right, younger siblings can serve some purrpose.
It was cold this morning, so instead of getting on the bed with my mum and dad, I decided to get under the duvet with them. It was very warm and cosy.
