Well this sucks

The Mom has decided that Frankie, the newest Brat, is going to have Stinky Goodness with me and the Annoying One. She said that he doesn't have many teeth left so he needs the softer food. Bah. You know what this means? I've got to fight another cat for MY Stinky Goodness. This big doof is just as bad as the Brats. The minute he's done scarfing down his food, he sticks his nose in my bowl trying to eat my food! I did thwap him a couple of times to get the point across, but no.... Bah. I yearn for the day that I have the Stinky Goodness all to myself.

I hate sharing my food with Isis. That's why I have mastered the fine art of lying:

Isis, what is that creeping across the floor over there by the sliding glass door?

Isis:Mmm...buggie...

Sure, that's what it is! Go check it out!

Isis:Mmm...buggie...

Munch, munch, munch!

Isis:Hey! This is only a fuzzball from the Mama's jacket!

Munch, munch - oh? I had no idea!

Sounds like Zeus has the template for success! The only time Brach and I eat together is when Mom fills the bowl (she free-feeds us dry food--we don't like stinky goodness).

Brach is fond of picking a few nuggets out of the bowl and bringing them to the carpet to feast. That keeps him out of my fur, so I'm not complaining!

My mom separates the boys from the girls during dinnertime. Otherwise, Caroline would eat everybody's on contact and Olivia would get into a great big snit. This way we get at least a half a chance to eat before somebody winds up crying.

Possibly you could ask to have your dinner in a private dining room? That way, no one would bother you. It's the least your Mom can do, considering that you're senior cat and all.

The Woman stands there and watches us when we eat, so that we don't try to steal each others Stinky Goodness. tonight I finished first and I wanted Buddah's, so I ran over and bit him on the butt. Heh. He walked away and when he didn't come back I got to eat it.

Our mom has to soopervise when we eat too. Scooby is very delicate with his food and takes a long time licking it to death first. Scout wolfs his down then tries to get into our bowls. Mom is trying to teach him to wait & hes finally starting to understand. -Shaggy

Hi Ayla, Pandora here!

It's been a madhouse here lately, but Mama has found time to help us visit our favourite blogs.

Mealtimes work quite well in our house, 'cos I can't eat biscuit (no teeth, look! [opens mouth]) and Charlie isn't keen on Stinky Goodness - stupid boy! But he does steal my prawns - and they have my med'cine in them!

Your mom sure does look happy in her graduation photo! :-)
