Today, the Mom did the laundry. I hate laundry days 'cause I lose my nice sleepy spot in the basket and it takes days for it to fill up again to a really comfy level. You understand my annoyance, right?
Well, today something strange happened. When the Mom came back from doing the laundry, she put the basket back in the closet and then put clothes and sheets into it. I must've had a shocked look on my face because she said "Mommy has too much laundry to do in one bit so I did half today and will do the other half on Monday. Enjoy." I just couldn't believe it! I don't have to suffer through the weekend with a sparsely filled laundry basket. Oh my. I'm just so estatic I don't know what to do.
Ah, I know what to do! Where's the Annoying one? *prances away to give him a good thwap*

Lucky you wif a basketfull of crose. We don't gets that too often. Daddy does the crose mostly and he puts em away so quick we don't even see em haf the time.
The clothes here are in a big tub called a laundry basket, lid closed, kitty proofed....can you beat that??

I prefer my boy's laundry basket, empty. Which it often is since he leaves the laundry on the bafroom floor. My adult servants don't like him doing that, but I love to hop into the empty basket.
Mom & Dad have mesh bags that make the greatest hidey spot! When Dad does laundry, Bonnie sumtimes rides in an empty basket he carries down to get the clean cloves. She doesn't like it if I jump into the boy's cloves basket. She finks it's hers.

What a special weekend you had! Sounds wonderful! Sleeping in the laundry is my favorite nap place. My mom has tall mesh things and I knock them over, crawl inside, and then burrow a spot! aaaaah!
We all like the clean clothes the best, that way we put our stinks on them before the humans do. We so own our humans.
I have to agree with Happy-go-lucky. The best is finding the darks and then jumping on top of them to leave all of my light colored fur.
