Painting the Day Away...

The humans are out today painting some rooms in the new house. I wish I could be there to see it. Neither of them are that agile and they are both huge klutzes. I can see them coming home covered in paint from head to toe. Ha!

Supposedly the master bedroom is going to be "merlot" and the Mom's office will be "butter." Umm...why are there paints named after foods and drinks? Whatever happened to "red" and "yellow?" The Dad is teasing the Mom 'cause she's going all looney over the fact that she can actually paint the walls something other than white which is why she's going for such "rich" colors. Since they're doing such a dark color in the bedroom, they have to put on a grey primer first. Bah. If I were them, I'd just paint it one color that would be nice and easy. Then again, you don't see cats painting 'cause it requires way too much effort.

Beans are funny that way with colors. Mum prefers bright/light colors.

Google "why cats paint".
Bonnie says the boy's room has always been blue but the downstairs train room was PINK! Now it's Milwaukee Road orange, cream, an black (looks better than it sounds). You could see the boy's blue room in our Friday post. An this show a little of the orange an what a GRATE job they did on the trim! Mom says she's nefur lettin Dad help paint a room agin.

Personally, I love to help paint.

I could tell you about our bout with "colors" but then I'd have flashbacks and that would be very bad. So except for the kitchen (which has 'painted turtle' and white in it) we're pretty much all soft white. But then, it's a good contrast to me, which is what really matters.

our mommy is painting the front hall - we rent too, but the landlord who has not been here in 5 years said as long as it's "tasteful" she can do whatefurr she wants.

I remember once when I tryed to help my mom paint. I step on the paint tray and left a trail of little pink paw prints on the floor.

Maybe the grey should be called "litter" ... and other colors should be named, nip (a lovely green), hairball (grey-brown), dingleberry (dark brownish), paw-pad pink, etc :)

Leave the painting to the humans, I say. You don't want to get paint on your floofy fur and end up having another BATH!!!!

Fat Eric has the right idea. Stay far away from the painting. It smells bad anyway.
