Dear Aylas Mom - No more pain for Ayla. We know, however for you, the pain is going be your unwelcome companion for quite a while. We send you love and comforting wishes.
Ayla clearly was loved while she was with you here on earth. That love does not change - the only change is that she no longer is in pain, she no longer has cancer, she is free.
Please know that you are in our prayers.

Dear Ayla's Mom,

Although we have not commented before, we feel like we know your wonderful Ayla. Whenever our mom's eyes leak when a great one crosses the Bridge, she tells us how all the other Rainbow kitties are celebrating the new one's arrival. There is big partying in Rainbow Town today! Our mom also tells us that the Rainbow kitties like to hang out in the constellation Leo, and that in November, during the Leonid meteor showers, they hop on passing shooting stars and come to visit us in the night sky. So my mom goes out at night in November and waves to our Rainbow brothers and all the other passing kitties riding on shooting stars. I promise she will be waving at Ayla, too.

We wish many sweet memories of your sweet and grumpy girl.

Ayala Have a Seat Upon a Cloud

Have a seat upon a cloud and make yourself at home
You are now inside my dreams, inside a book, inside a poem.
Where anything can happen if you only make it real
Plunge into my waters if you're not afraid to feel.
Take off your shoes and close your eyes, relax upon my sand
Join me in my land of dreams, reach out and take my hand.
Let me share my dreams with you until you find your own
I'll take you there if you believe, take mine out on loan.
Where birds are words so gracefully they glide across the sky
Leave behind your worries, here the rules do not apply.
Pick my flowers if you like and plant a seed or two
Paint the sky in polka dots if you do not like it blue.
Climb my trees, face your fears; erase them one by one
See the world from up above and don't stop at the sun.
When the world starts raining down and the sun is out of sight
Let your dreams control your mind and help you through the night.
There's a place inside my dreams for all who care to roam
So have a seat upon a cloud and make yourself at home.

I am so sorry. Life is just soooo sad at the moment. First day I try to come back to the blogosphere - another beautiful cat - who was very very dear to us because she was just so much like Anastasia in many respects - has crossed.
It is not fair.
My thoughts are with you and the staff sends lot of love - we know how you feel. Yes, and we know Anastasia, and Oscar, and Ubee, and Ayla, and so many others are o.k. and fine behind that bridge. But that does really not make it any better because we will always miss them.
