One of the things I did notice was that there was a Wikipedia entry for Ayla. Of course, I had to read it. Now, as you know, the Mom is a professor and she's always telling her students to never use Wikipedia as a source because it can be constantly edited and people can write any sort of poop that they want to. Well, now I know why:
It is also indirectly related to the English word aura which has its etymological roots in Greek and Hebrew languages. In ancient Hebrew, the word aur, meaning "illumination", but also "radiance," "happiness" and "joy,"..."Radiance?" "Happiness?" "Joy?" Ya right. They definitely aren't talking about me.
So anyways, I'd figure I'd share this little tidbit with you all when I noticed that there's a new version of Blogger to be had. Since I try to be a very technically savvy kitty, I figured I would try it. Since when did Google take over Blogger? I had to create a Google account and do all this pain in the tush stuff to get the new Blogger. What's that all about? All I know is if this makes Blogger any more annoying than it already is, I may have to create my own webpage. Bah.

We didn't like moving to google either. It was pretty easy for Momma cause she had a google account but I had to make one.
It's funny when Chey googles herself she gets all this stuff from Jennifer Roberson books but her website is higher now and so they get her!
That's funny; we went thru a painful upgrade this weekend. Mom had an identidy crisis cuz there's her, me, an Bonnie. She upgraded me to her Google account, then tried to add Bonnie and, wul, I accidentally hijacked Bonnie's profile. The *blog* upgrade was fine, it was the profiles that "sucked" (Mom's werd). Wif 3 tries, she figgered out how to do it right, but Bonnie's still mad cuz all her old posts say they was me.
PS Dad writes fur Wikipedia.
What we can't figure out is if the new Blogger is called "beta" - what is this one - "alpha"? And will they ever be production? We haven't converted yet but she's been ticked enough trying to leave comments on those who have. Good luck.
I gotted mine bloggie in the furs' place acuz' Mom wanted to 'speriment wif beta. But she hadded up upgrade hers an Rascal's . That wented ok. But she really likes beta better. Course, Rascal an me has our own gmail from the furry beginnin, so there was no problems wif our profiles.
Glad you made the switch okay Ayla. Mom figures as long as we keep my new beta version blog in "classic" then there's no problem. All the new cool features are with the beta templates, but we're leaving mine alone. I told her she could experiment with her own blog if she wanted to.
Interesting about Wikipedia. Does this mean theres going to be wiki wars between your mom and Victor's dad??????
Oh no offense to Victor's dad. It's just sometimes people go it and screw up stuff. Like the time the Mom went to look up stuff on the Iroquois and it said that all native americans were elves with really big butts. She said she'll never look at Wikipedia the same way again.
Oh, Ayla, that last comment of yours made me laugh on the inside! (I don't think cats laugh out loud.)
What's alpha? I haven't noticed that. Not another change, I hope.
Yes, blogger has been a real pain in the butt recently. Mom had to get a gmail account for us just so we can leave comments on cats pages who use beta blogger. I shake my paw firmly in blogger/googles direction!!!
